Out of curiosity I called the given callback number 1****697809 and the menu options eventually led to asking more information than you should be willing to give to a stranger, if you get my drift.

She is right, and if Dell would email or sent the return shipping label, I'd happily return it. Unfortunately, I've called several times and they insist they will both send and email one, and they never do.
