Call from many different numbers. Call about a debt from ten years ago. I couldn't pay it then and I certainly can't pay it now that I am on disability. Calling me all of the time isn't going to get it paid. They are the only one that continue to constantly call me. GOOD LUCK!

Same thing..it is a debt collector or maybe telemarketer or both..they have many numbers...calls 3 or 4 times per day...a***n my i owe no one and i dont want to buy anything...STOP CALLING..

This is Portfolio Recovery, a debt collection agency that attempts to collect on very old debts, often calling the wrong number. I have had numerous calls from them looking for different people that I have never even heard of.

Every time I get a call I dont know,  I come here and find out it is from the same People...You wont believe how many numbers these people use, and from different states. I never answer the calls so I'm not sure what or who they are calling about. But I do get calls daily.

Looks like they aren't smart enough to stop calling.

Another in a long line of spam calls I don't answer to my cell. At least now I know who it is, thanks to this site. They tried mailing me some letter about so****ing from over 10 years ago, they just fail. A friend of mine at work told me it's so****ing called "zombie debt", wanna be companies like this spam people with either fake or outdated debt notices in the hopes of getting some cash.

The Wall Street Journal posted a story about Portfolio Recovery****ociates, using the signature of a woman named Martha Kunkle, who died in 1995. Although she died in 1995, Kunkle's signature has apparently shown up on thousands of affidavits submitted since her ***** by Portfolio.

i have checked... this company has many numbers they call from...they leave no message..nor no one on other side answers when i do...STOP CALLING..im not buying anything nor do i owe anyone...please report these people NOW

The post above give the c sukers just what they want. Instead just ask them when was the last time they had really hot *** with their mother/***her. They always **** up. Don't run scared from a group of losers. What sane person would want a job acting like a **** eating fly? They go home the kids cuss at them, the dog ***s on their leg and the statisfaction of life in general must be horrible for them. Don't let em bother you!

This number, at this time is PORTFOLIORECOV. At least that is what is on the CID. The name PORTFIORECOV seems to c****e it's Number quite often. I know this because I can block any number for as long as I like but not names and my computer keeps a record of Evert call, the date and time. I haven't counted the numbers these A_ _  Holes have or appear to have. I guess I will have to find a program that will block by names. I am Registered with both the National and Texas Do Not Call. I bet I am in the same boot as the rest of the U.S. I don't see a lot of improvement. PORTFOLIORECOV is the worst yet. I'll just have to keep blocking every number they come up with. Oh yes, I did answer this last call and told the Blank line to stop calling.

We keep getting calls from this company with no one on the line when I answer.  Sometimes there is a telemarketing type noises and voices in the back ground.  This is very creepy.

These people have called my number several times.  The last time, the phone number 412-282-1420 appeared on my call screen.  Other times, it has appeared as "Private."  They have been looking for Lakeesha Brown.  I keep telling them they have the wrong number, I am not that person and do not know her...that they are invading a private number.  It's extremely upsetting.  I finally Googled the phone number and came upon your site.  The men and women who are making these calls should be researched and stopped.

Am getting REALLY AGGRAVATED at these people..they keep calling using different phone numbers..this makes the 9th. time they have called me.. QUIT IT ALREADY!!!

got a call from this number today...first of its kind.  asked me for someone I don't know.  knew my first name but had a different last name.  don't know this person, told them they had the wrong number and no I am not that person.  the caller asked me if I've ever gone by that name, I said no.  she asked a***n, I said no.  we'll see if they call a***n.  geez...you'd think they'd know who they're calling before they call.

Someone from this number keeps calling but never leaves a message.

I got a called from this number. Did not answer and never answers any call that shows on my caller ID that I don't know. She left a message that she would like to speak to me on answering/voice mail ma****e. This number shows that she's calling from Pittsburg, PA. No idea what are they calling about. This company need to be shut down.

CALLS ME ALL THE TIUME FOR A DEBT THT WAS DISCHARGED WHEN I FILED BANKRUPTCY 6 YEARS AGO . THEY NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN

Portfolio.  Debt Collectors.   Aready sent a CEASE COMMUNICATION letter to them via Certified Mail which is supposed to stop their calls.      They continue to call.    How do you make them stop?

these people are crazy..  I am making a complaint.. Ive never shop at JCpenney or sears and they said I owe from 2002 to 2008 ***.. I said you are crazy.. I called my bank and they told me to stop everything and make a complain and stop my account and get another one.. When they called they wanted my social security number I said know and ***g up.

I don't answer, but I know it's Portfolio Recovery..they need to be shut down.

Got a call for my wife of over 8 years for a debt from sears.  She has never had a SEARS account in her life.  Asked Portfolio Recovery Rep to send a letter with their demand and gave current address.  When (If they do send the letter) we will respond to them in writing with the following points;•    DO not call ever a***n (also made on the phone today)•    Advise this is not my wife's debt as she never had an account with sears•    Advise any further action will result in a swift law suit•    Copies of the letter will go to Sears and to my LawyerIf this was her debt) it is not) the Stat of Limits has expired.  We reviewed her credit report and Sears has never been listed.On one had i would like them to harass us as I am in the fighting mood and would love to go to court – other hand what a waste of time.I bet their corporate structure is so tight any law suits won would never be collected.

Rejected call from this number about an hour or so ago.
