Ashford University is a legit college. It has a campus in Iowa and has an online program based out of San Diego. If you are getting calls and dont knwo why its probably becasue you filled out an online survey or were applying for a job that asked you about college. Requests get sent to several schools, and they have no idea if they are valid requests or not. Ask to be taken off the list, verbage is very important. If they keep calling ask to speak to a manager. They cannot delete peoples inquiries without their permission becasue it is a FERPA violation. The longer you wait to tell them the more annoyed you will get. Not spam. They actually enroll quite a few students through calls like the ones your getting. So if you complain on here, blame yourself for not taking action sooner.

You have to pickup the phone. Politely or impolitely stop the person from speaking and say please take me off of your list. You have to do this TWO separate times for they will not believe the first time unless you speak with the manager. After that, if you want to stop the other, place your number on a national do not call list and it will block your number for good.
