i am so grateful that i have a landline and never answer ANY CALL or TEXT on my cell unless I know who it is. on my cell voice message it even says that if i dont know you i will not answer, anyone who needs to contact me knows my landline phone number. if you dont that answers everything i need to know. im also glad i read all the comments here. they must be bad with this many comments, cuz im usually the first comment on here. (love this app- best $ ive spent). i owe nothing and know that any of these scammers get you to say (Yes) to anything and are able to manipulate the recording to sound like you’ve agreed to something/anything. Stay cautious people.
fraudulent!! They want you to give your credit card info or bank account info or social security number so they can steal from you!! My works toll free number is one different from this number and we hjave been getting a lot of elderly sounding people calling us because of a misdial, looking for different banks so I looked into the number because it seemed weird. They act like they are the number you call to report fraud OR activate a new card. They want you to enter your card info and if you dont have that they ask for your social security number!! And this number is associated with many different bnaks online, The websites look like spoofed websites of the real banks,
I'll call everyone on what they have said and raise you another level. I had logged into Xfinity on my laptop and went to the support section to see if I could find a voice number for tech support. a balloon for their chatbot said there were live agents online to assist so I simply entered 'voice number for tech support's. they asked if there was anything they could help with but I just repeated the same thing. they gave me the scam number and said they were there to assist if they could. This was from my xfinity account that I had just logged into. How the hell does that happen?
I let the car go to voicemail. It started off like this “Hello, this is California Healthcare Options”. I looked up the number on the Reverse Phone app and did have a high spammer score of 90% but when I searched the number on Google, it came up as Medi-Cal Managed Care Health Care Options and the website is healthcareoptions.dhcs.ca.gov. I had recently applied for Medi-Cal and had not finished the application and that is what the call was for.
A recorded line said that possibly I had used the wrong Routing number, account number and something else, they said my 200 payment didnt go through; I never made a 200 dollar payment. I looked up the number and it said it was a scam/spam number. I may have given, I did verify my last 4 of my social number and agreed the account ended in the same number for my bank account
if you have your email linked, you don’t gotta answer the call . Easiest to let it go to voicemail otherwise you can lose your reactivation number. this Number calls me every time. My card gets frozen every time unfreeze it but I usually use email. Honestly, the most annoying thing is the verification number. If you answer mid call.
These people claim to be a legitimate cell phone company. They call and there is complete silence until I say hello. They called back and I hung up on them. Tracfone and Straighttalk are the biggest scammers hands down and they port your number without your consent.
Fraud dept called about some serious charges on my account. they asked a lot of questions: my password and started signing into my account and have code numbers go to me and then i read them. they even changed my password.
Trying to say won $. Gave me a account and pin # to check balance. The guy who called wanted me to call him back after I checked the balance but was unable to provide me his # when I told him I didnt have caller ID.
They said they were cigi bank and showing someone opened a credit card In my name and purchased firearms. debt is five thousand dollars. talks with Indian national voice. Very hard to understand
It shows up LMm Hollywood on the caller id and these people canceled my digs worm meds order and harassed me over and over about verifying my information. Im contacting a lawyer next.
Yes, from "US BANK" with a card number 8585 (last 4 digits of the phone number). They called back multiple times to make it seem more legit.
Thank you for making this website official gaaaaaay. No one likes a bully,it’s all fun and games until is not.Ciao :*
I believe this is a scam call. Person called representing capital one to inquire about unauthorised purchases. Going thru a list of charges at each he encouraged me to click yes that I had authorised the purchase. I told him that did not make any sense. He said he was just trying to do his job, I hung up and went thru the purchases responding no not yes. When I originally was cooperating and answered yes I received a code that he told me to input which authorised the purchase. . It did not make sense to do that and the immediate reply was capital one not ask for this code but obviously this "capital one rep" did ask for the code, Anyway I went thru and disputed all the charges. They were taken off my account, I locked my card and changed my password, I am filing complaint with capital one because on some way this person had real time access to my account and i wonder if there is someone on the inside at capital one feeding info to scammers, By
