I have been hacked (possibly gangstalked or at minimum monitored by the cops & county workers) for over three years now so I think it was a way to get me to s**** using my devices a***n

What ever you do, do not give anyone any information like your SS# , your AT&T code, or even engage in conversation with these people! You will never receive a call from this number even if you haven’t paid your bill! Call the number back, but not by redial, and let them know you got this message or contact from a scammer! It’s sad when you cant even use you phone without someone trying to rip you off! I always tell these people that I work for the FBI and I have their location, they hang up real quick!
(800) 331-0500
Received a call from this number and an automated voice said “Your AT&T account has been suspended”! Well it is still working on the four phones we have on our family plan! I’m worried that like a couple of others have mentioned, that this is the AT&T Customer support line listed for support. I called the number back and talked to a representative and she said that it was not a call made by AT&T, that they were glad to know that someone was using their Customer Service number to try and gather personal information! She said that if you had a issue with your bill, you would be notified by email or regular mail! That your phone would not be just cut off anyway unless your account was way past due, and you have had several attempts by email or regular mail to make past due payments!

Apparently, this is a legit number being used by scammers. I did not get a call from this number, but found a $35.41 charge in my bank statement with this number listed on the fake electronic check they used. It said it was from www.consumvoip.com. When I looked this up, it said it was AT&T. I do not use that phone service. I then called the number, and it was answered as AT&T. However, I talked to a woman who asked me what I needed. She hemmed and hawed, and finally put someone on the phone named Albert. Well, Albert had a heavy Indian accent. He said I was not a customer and could not help me. I then went to the bank. I signed an affidavit, and was told my money would be back within two days. He said he saw things like this a lot, but it was usually with cards, not so much with checks. It just did not sound right. Could someone be tapped into a legit number, and using it? Maybe they can even answer calls to this number if they want to?

This language challenged guy tried to trick me to give out my account credentials.... Probably a lot of "sitting ducks" out there easy enough to fool. These people should be shot on sight!
