they said our QuickBooks payment was declined and wanted me to login to QB to verify payment. I told them to give me a number to call them back at and if I verified they were indeed with QB I would talk care of it.

This number is not for Megan Harrison Smith. It is a scammer that claims to be Microsoft. My computer got locked up and this phone number appeared to call to fix the problem. In the end They tried to charge $528 for software to protect my computer. I did get the charged declined and disputed form my credit card.
