This is the second time I got a call from this 877 number. This time I answered. The lady’s name was De*** and she said she was investigating possible fraud on my Truist account. One was a zero amount… that’s what a fraudster would do to see if it was a real account. She may have been actually workingnon a fraud but you should NEVER give info when someone is calling you, then **** up. I did call my bank security dept… and the Truist Service lady was able to confirm that Truisy had shut down my account for suspected fraud attempt. Truist really is diligent about stopping fraud. Anyway, I discovered this trying to pay for my groceries at a Kroger. My card had to be cancelled. I have some cash with me so I have to redo my order for now. BE CAREFUL!
i have no Case bank accounts and have done no buisness with chase. Many post about this number verifying checks written. i dont write checks. i called this number and definatly got a non US call cenrer. Hung up imediatly when they asked for address as the first question. Think about it, if your an account holder with Chase that is not a relevent question to confirm identity out of all the information that you would have with a company you do buisness with. I soay this is suspiciose activity.
