Called repeatedly and when I never responded or answered they finally sent me a survey form to fill in for one week along with $5 for doing it. I have done this once in the past couple of years so did take the time to do it for one week however before the week was even up they were calling a***n and this time they left a message but I just ignored them as I was mailing the completed form in the next day. They are pests however and would like them to forget my number in the future.

Makes calls repeatedly and lists it as "unknown caller"! There is a Panasonic phone system that can be programmed to reject calls that do not show their phone number, identification or both. Also this phone system can be programmed to reject follow up calls from the specific telephone number. I am going to purchase and program so that calls meeting my criteria will be rejected without my even hearing a ring.And this capability costs me nothing other than paying for caller identification.

Hi there,For anyone else who is getting annoying calls late at night from this company, I found another blog this 800 number to call and let the representative know that you would like to be taken off their list. I called it tonight and talked to a super sweet lady who was very apologetic and said she would have my number removed within 24 hours. We'll see if I get any more calls..but for anyone else who is being called nightly, try calling 800-237-8611 and ask to be removed from the list.

I am not currently nor have conducted business with Nielsen TV, Nielsen Media Research. I have received both live calls and recorded message. I have requested to be added to their do not call list and yet the calls persist. I have listed complaints with the National Do Not Call Registry. However they do not resolve complaints. The complaints are added into a data base for law enforcement agencies to use if they choose.

Thats all they want to know, so they keep calling you.If you have caller id like i do,you must disconnect your ma****e from answering the call completely, so it just keeps ringing. After a while, the computer red lines your "bad" number. It doesnt pay for them to keep calling you, it cost them money.They consider your number a dead number. It might take a week or so, but they will stop when its not cost effective for them. It worked like a charm for the other 5 ****py numbers. Go for it-do not answer, do not talk--period.

It's Nielsen Ratings. They are legit. I thought it was a crud call but went ahead and answered it one day. They asked if we would write down what we'd watch on TV for a week. We said ok THEN they mentioned they'd pay us 30 dollars for doing it. Several days later, they sent us all the info we needed plus 30 dollars cash. We were expecting a check so the cash was a nice surprise. My opinion? The calls may be annoying it but answer it, agree to do the test and see if they say they'll pay you. It is worth the 30 bucks.

They actually sent me a post card notifing me that they would be calling cause my hosehold was selected for this survey.THIS IS A BUSINESS AND NOT A HOUSEHOLD! I have caller I.D and kept letting them call and wouldn't answer it, after a few weeks I couldn't take it anymore and answered the phone.Once they knew they called a business they appologized and ***g up! ANSWER THE PHONE "ABC PIZZA" or so****ing like that AND SEE WHAT THEY SAY! What have you got to loose.

My friend works there. It is Nielsen Tv Ratings and they are exempt from do not call lists because they do not sell anything. To be removed from the calling list you must say the magic words, "Take me off your list" almost any other response, including, "I'm on the do not call list" will generate a call back.
