There's an option ***ody has considered. It IS a legit number for GEICO, but the calls aren't all actually coming from that number. Somebody is s****ing that number so people will believe it's GEICO. They are then trying to get credit card info to "make an overdue payment". If they just happen to hit someone that does have a GEICO policy and owes money, that poor sap will probably give up the info. It's an iden***y theft scam! If you ever get a call like this, don't give them info directly. Instead contact the company to find out if it's a legit call and make ayment arrangements with them.
