This guy Stephan passed me to his (Deputy Owens) called stating he was a Los Angeles Sherrif's deputy. He said I had a failure to appear notice from a civil case (Jury duty). Of course, I never heard anything about a civil case and never got any notice and they claimed I signed it , it is definitely a scam. I'm not too sure what information he was trying to gather. BE AWARE

This guy (Deputy Owens) called stating he was a Los Angeles Sherrif's deputy. He said my wife had a failure to appear notice from a civil case. Of course, we've never heard anything about a civil case and it is a scam. I'm not too sure what information he was trying to gather, but it is a***nst the law to impersonate an officer of the law.
