I answered the phone call this afternoon. It was an automatic recording stating that I was qualified for a lower interest rate on my capitol one credit card. I was to press one to talk to a person, which I did. A person came to the phone and I asked the lady what capitol one credit card number this was for and she s****ed to give her s***ch. I asked her a***n what was the last four digits of my credit card she was talking about and she disconnected the call. I tried calling back and the phone number was disconnected. I did call my credit card company and they don't have this call on record. I have a feeling that this is a scam! don't give your information over the phone!! I did report this to my capitol one card and also the FTC.

They called my phone for days without leaving a msg. When i answered and said i wasn't interested and To add me to their do not call list, the line went dead. When i called back it said it wasn't a working numb. Interesting how the number belongs to sprint/Nextel as well as my recently aquired number that they called.

Got a call from this number, answered it and they said it was my "credit card company" letting me know I could get a lower interest rate on my credit card. No name of a credit card company, just a generic recording. I was told to push 1 if I wanted to speak to someone, I ***g up instead.
