My experience with Vonage (and other carriers) is that if they do not resolve problems, complaining to the FCC works very well. Just s****ed getting these calls today. I am a FORMER Vonaqe customer . On Friday I reported to Vonage a problem - every since I moved away from their service -- years ago -- no one on Vonage's service can reach me. While everyone else in the world can call me with no problems, anyone using Vonage gets a "this number is not in service" message. Guess that was their parting gift -- make sure I don't get all my calls! I have called several times on this problem over the years, each time they try to **** me off and say it isn't their fault, I need to hire an AT&T engineer, or some other excuse. Well last Friday I got insistent, asking them to really resolve it, explaining that the ONLY people in the world who can't call me are Vonage customers. Cancelled with Vonage a while back, and I keep getting called by this number also. I transfered my number away from vonage due to exceptionally poor service, and this number calls ever since. Aparently its a "robot" that is supposed to go through their available number database and check whether the number is still available.
