They left a number to call on my voice mail. My voice mail was blank, but I called the number. It said punch 7. there was no one there. i have blocked this number. I am sure it was some sort of scam.

An apparent robo call was received on 4/26/21 placed by a female voice that correctly stated my name and that she was a VA Employee and I should return the call at (message garbled) (822)(800) 827-1000. Any actual VA Regional Office employee would leave their name, phone number and any extension number in their call back message.

Claims he was a civilian rep from the VA calling to follow up on my military records inquiry I placed over four years ago. He would not give me his last name. When I waited till 0100 hours, I called the number and the recording gave me his last name. Smart huh???
