Got a text for [email protected]. Spam and scam. I don't even have a Bank of America account. I don't have an iPhone so it does happen to others not just iPhone users.
(561) 235-7256
Sends s****ed text messages pretending to come from Sprint PCS. Leaves a call number for "Bank of Derpmerica" which is also the real number the text is from. When called, it asks for all of your credit card information in order to "reactive your card." THIS IS ONE GIANT SCAM. Please note that also, this type of s****ing only occurs on iPhones (all models and software versions). I also happen to be a Sprint iPhone 4S user. Coincidence much? WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT CALL BACK OR EVER RESPOND TO TEXTS OF ANY KIND FROM ANY BANK. Just call your bank directly with the number on the back of your credit card!
