Johnny Cruz and then a guy named Jason Fletcher with heavy Indian accents called claiming to be from Internal Revenue Services Criminal Investigation Unit, and that the govt. has issued a warrant for my arrest for tax fraud and money laundering. That they had tried to contact me via USPS last year three times without success. And the phone call was meant to avoid having to call the police to execute the warrant. I needed to resolve the matter or provide my attorney's information for them to contact the attorney within two hours in order avoid arrest. A lot of that is similar to the other comments here--just wanted to add the details in case the next person wants to compare results.

I received a call for (202)239-8723. A man named Jeff Morgan with a Indian (for India) male voice claiming to be a IRS lawyer from DC. He told me that IRS have fine charge a***nst me on money laundry fraud and in 45 minutes local authorities will arresting me. The call came from sprint carrier, with a mobile phone. It got me thinking why would IRS call me from a cell phone and not from 1-800 number. I called the number back and same person answered with a s Eric Thomson. I called the local authority and filed a harassment charge.

Total scam, this guy "Jeff Morgan" with an Indian accent claims he's from the IRS and has a warrant for your arrest. He tries to scare the **** out of you, and they are VERY smart and on top of their game...but from the research I've done...this is a total scam with the guy getting off on scaring people. Make sure to give HIM the run for the money.

These s*** bags are impersonating IRS folks and use 9/11 and Patriot Act to scare people to send them money for overdue taxes. Hope they get arrested and put away or sent back to where they came from.
