The company name is Motor Vehicle Protection. I received a call from them today despite our registry on the national DNC list. Therefore, I filed complaints with the FTC and my state Attorney General. When the calls began was kind of odd. My mother's car broke down, and she had to call for a tow through State Farm. Within about an hour, we began getting phone calls for an extended warranty. I would hope State Farm or their partners did not sell off our information to a company that fails to check the national DNC list. I would also hate to think it is AT&T, our phone provider, might be continuing to sell our calls off to a third party despite opting out: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/07/08/att-selling-data_n_3561263.html. We had problems with this for about a month awhile back, and then we figured out they were selling our private data (e.g. phone conversations). As much as I'd like to suggest to just mess around with this warranty company like others have suggested, they are violating federal law.
