The company name is Motor Vehicle Protection. I received a call from them today despite our registry on the national DNC list. Therefore, I filed complaints with the FTC and my state Attorney General. When the calls began was kind of odd. My mother's car broke down, and she had to call for a tow through State Farm. Within about an hour, we began getting phone calls for an extended warranty. I would hope State Farm or their partners did not sell off our information to a company that fails to check the national DNC list. I would also hate to think it is AT&T, our phone provider, might be continuing to sell our calls off to a third party despite opting out: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/07/08/att-selling-data_n_3561263.html. We had problems with this for about a month awhile back, and then we figured out they were selling our private data (e.g. phone conversations). As much as I'd like to suggest to just mess around with this warranty company like others have suggested, they are violating federal law. i get calls from this pest several times a week. upon call back, it was an answereing ma****e, message was that it was extended motor vechicle warranty. also said if not interested, just disregard, it interested at gave an 800 number to call 8oo 2286160 so i called just to see what i got, it was answered by a recorded message, that gave a menu with cchoices to make. one of these was to customer care, and this person totally denied having called me in the first place. when i asked to be put on the do not call list, he ***g up. story not over yet . i got 2 more calls this afternoon from the same idiot number.so who knows ,go figure

Received a call today from 732-903-0837, told me my warranty was a bout to expire on my car. He asked me to "confirm" the amount of miles. I did - he said sounds like a new car, I told him it was... he ***g up on me!!! I called the number back and was given some options and ended up on hold for 15 minutes, long distance and I ***g up. My suggestion is DO NOT TAKE CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER!! It sounds bogus.

It's NPS from some Motor Vehicles Place...so they claimed. They call at least 3x a day. The guy also had my whole VIN # and my address on my car. I let them do all the talking, never agreeing then ***g up. I called the number to be taken off the list and the center is only open 9-5. They haven't heard the end of me :-).
