These people, w***ver they are, are annoying. After reading the comments, I wonder if it is the same company who keeps trying to sell my husband insurance. I got ****ed into the call one evening, trying to get rid of the caller and asked them not to all a***n -- they called back half an hour later, which made my husband angry because he heard me tell the caller we weren't interested and not to call a***n. Ever since then, 2-3 calls every day. I signed up for the do not call registry -- hope it helps.

This is not a scam. It is a company that is outsourced by major insurance companies to provide free quotes on auto and home insurance. They do not use your information for any other purpose other than to provide you with a free quote to see if they can save you money on insurance. If you ask nicely to be taken off their list, they WILL do it. I know people do not like being called at home, but this is their job. They are doing what they are told. Either you want a quote or not. Be nice and ask them to remove you from the list and you will not receive multiple calls. The loophole is that they are NOT selling anything. Even if you are on the do not call list, these people aren't selling anything. It is a courtesy call to try and help you save money. They are not solicitors, debt collectors, or sales persons, they are just average joes trying to make a living and trying to save you money. You are not obligated to buy, they just want to offer a free quote. All calls are monitored. Employees that are rude will be terminated. Hope this clears this up. Then a***n, it could be numerous companies using a Dearborn dialing system.

I normally don't, but he caught me in a good mood and when I confirmed my dob, he said someone would call me back in a few days to go over the quote. If when they call and you answer they now know it is a hot number. They then "sell" your hot number to several other companies who will be calling you to buy their product. The best thing to do is to not answer the call. Eventually your number is considered a cold number and removed from their list. If you keep answering they will keep calling.
