I have received several calls from this number, but have not been able to answer and they have not left any messages. I attended college about 20 years ago and have paid my student loans in full, so they are not calling about that. I did however recently apply for a grants to go back to school in the spring 2013, but have not applied for any student loans.
(717) 720-1618 - May 24th, 2012 2:54pm
They are Fedloan; usually offer parents student loans (either for the parent or the parent's child), just pay your bill and you'll be fine.

They've been calling me for months now, and everytime they use a different number for the same so called real "fedloan" company. Called me twice in a row just now. I am a student, but my loans in entirely in my parents name, I do not handle any payments to my college. I'm still in school so there goes your theory Rome. My parents have handled my payments for both me and my older brother and everything is up to date. I believe this is indeed a large scam of people pretending to be Fedloan since these numbers they've used to call me are never used by the real company to contact my parents, as they do it all online and through the mail. Other numbers they have used on me: ***7201618, ***7207564, 18006992908. You can look these numbers up and people will have left the same comments as for this number.

Anyone who complains that this number keeps calling, is an idiot. FedLoan is a national government agency that disburses student loans to MANY students around the country. The only reason why they would ever call you, is if you were done with school, whether you graduated, withdrew, or whatever, and they want you to s**** paying back your student loans. Normally, they will not s**** calling you immediately after you leave school. However, they WILL s**** calling if you've been out of school for months and have not made arrangements to either begin making payments or request a deferrment/forbearance. You can't just ignore them; it is the easiest way to default on your loans. Don't let it happen.
(717) 720-1618 - May 23rd, 2011 4:00am
If it is My Fed Loan, that is what the Department of Education calls their loan servicing department. It would be for any student loans taken out. I only know because I have student loans. The problem is, they shouldn't be asking you for your social security number if they placed the call to you. If you call them, they may ask it to verify that they can give you information.

Its a fraudulent call... when some people answer, they person on the other line asks for a ss#, do not give any of this information over the phone. They say they are a compant called My Fed Loan... ive looked up this company several times and have yet to find anything partaining to any loan i have or my fiance has taken out. Its not a real company.
(717) 720-1618 - June 30th, 2010 4:00am
Fed Loan is a real company. What is really weird is that my loan payments are up to date. When I contact them a rep had told me that I owe 300 dollars. I re-checked my accounts and everything is good.
(717) 720-1618 - April 29th, 2010 4:00am
This is AES/PHEAA. If you have a student loan, that's what it's about. Alternatively, you were listed as a reference to update someone's contact info that has a student loan that they are servicing. I have family that works there.
(717) 720-1618 - July 20th, 2010 4:00am
They keep calling me back to back to back! at least 4 times a day!!!I have proof!!In a week they total to about 16 times a week! Even if I answer!! This is ridiculous!! And harassing!
(717) 720-1618 - June 21st, 2010 4:00am
FedLoan IS a real company that w***ver you originally got your student loan from has probably sold your loan to, and they're trying to collect payments. It's not fraud, pick up the phone.
