An individual claiming to be with Publishers Clearing House or another publisher company contacted a person and sent a text asking them to call back. They used the number 1(833)800-0917 and insisted they were from this company. When questioned about being a scammer, they immediately hung up. Poor audio quality further raised doubts about the caller's legitimacy.

They also send a text to say to text them back, I don’t recall any company that does that.

This individual claims to be with Publishers Clearing House or whichever Publisher company and then proceeds to send me a text to call them back. This individual also used a 1(833)800-0917 number to also claim they are with this company. Once I’ve asked if they’re a scammer, they immediately hung up. I don’t know who this individual is but they were using a very bad microphone to be with a company.
