Definitely a phishing attack. They know that Wells Fargo cards begin with 4868- (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Bank_Identification_Numbers#Visa_.2848.2A.2A.2A.2A.29) and are hoping that they get enough people that bank with WF (e.g. I do) to call in and give them account information. If you are here, hopefully you already know, but always call in via a well known number for any financial transactions, don't let them call you, or direct you to an unusual number.

I received a text from this 541-228-4278 saying "WELLS FARGO ALERT: Your CARD s****ing with 4868 has been DEACTIVATED. Please contact us at: 206-427-9512." I then received a phone call (which I did not answer) that the caller id showed only "618". I do not have a Wells Fargo card...
