I received a call at work from someone identifying themselves as Eric Johnson, stating that he was a law firm in Florida.  He told me to not interrupt him until he was finished.  Iasked him how long it would be because I was at work, and he said only a few minutes.  He told me that I was being taken to court by their lawfirm unless I settled the debt of 474.00 that I owe some payday loan company.  Then he verified my information and even had the names of my mom and my boyfriend.  When I got home I called the number back so I could get more information on his company, and the person that answered the phon as just "Hello"?  When I told him only my first name, he rudely asked me why I was calling them back. I told him that I wanted the name of his company.  He refused and ***g up on me.  Two minutes later they called my home and after arguing with my boyfriend, said "Hell Bless You" and ***g up.  That really freaks me out.  Who are these people, and do I now have to worry about them stealing my iden***y.  They have my personal information!!!!!

I GOT A CALL THIS MORNING FROM THIS NUMBER 305-712-3849 CLAIMING HIS NAME TO BE JEFFREY BOYDT STATING MY NAME AND SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER ARE BEING SUED. I COULDN'T TALK BECAUSE I WAS AT WORK. HE ASK WHEN I COULD CALL BACK. I TOLD HIM AT NOON. WHEN I ***G UP I DID A LITTLE RESEARCH AND FOUND THAT THIS WAS A SCAM!!! I WILL BE GIVING THEM A PIECE OF MY MIND WHEN I SPEAK TO THEM AT NOON!!

Eric Johnson has called me over 12 times in the past year. I am a reference for someone else, I told him to take me off their contact list, they agreed, then call back. I try to get someone on the phone with whom I can understand to no avail.. I am contacting a lawyer... My phone records will prove my case..

I just called them and they answered, "Hello".  I said "that's no way to answer a business phone, who is this?"  He got really mad and wouldn't tell me his, or his company's name. I continued to **** him off until he finally ***g up...

My Mother and one of my friends got a call from these guys today.  However, my guy was "Officer Eric Johnson" with the Hindu accent.  I look at all of the posts on here and know one thing, all of you have in fact taken out a payday loan that you defaulted on.  The people that you know who are getting these phone calls are people you used as references for your payday loan. Just be honest. We all know...There's nothing these "Officers" can do, so just hope that they stop calling soon...

I got a call from this number, a Kevin Peterson, with Legal affidavit processing department. He left 2 messages looking for a friend of mine. He said it involved internet fraud and the authorities would be contacting me. I called him back twice, both times he ***g  up on me. Then he called a third time and said it was involving electronic funds transfers. I told him he was a scam and to Google search his number and read about his self. He said he did not know what Google search was. lol.When I tried to explain it he ***g up a***n.

Yep I got a call from him referencing so****ing to do with my mom.  After I ***g up i googled his number and called back calling him out on his scam.  He s****ed stuttering and told me legal action would be taken on ME!! HAH  what a loser

Got a call from 305-712-3849 stating he was Officer Garrishmen and that I owed money and to add icing on top of the cake a warrant was being issued out for my arrest!When I tried to ask him who the so-called payday loan (which was not taken out) was for he got irrate, refused to answer, and ***g up.  I tried to call back but got his v/mail.Glad I googled this number.

I work at a hotel and I just received a call from Gary Smith from the same number asking for an employee who works here. My****istant manager told him several times that we cannot take personal messages for employees and "Officer Smith" proceeded to cuss her out. Finally I answered and could not understand him, but took his number and googled it. Glad I did.

WOW..... I HAVE REC'D A CALL FROM AN OFFICER GARY SMITH THREATENING ME BECAUSE I OWE THEM A PAYDAY LOAN WHICH I NEVER GOT.. WHAT AN A**HOLE HE IS BECAUSE I AM CALLING AND REPORTING HIM AND THAT FIRM ( LEGAL AFFIDAVIT PROCESSING COMPANY) CALL ME ON MY CELL AND JOB HOW THEY GOT THAT INFORMATION NOT SURE. BUT IM CALLING THE FLORIDA STATE ATTORNEY AND REPORTING THEM....

I got the same call from Officer Gary Smith, fortunately for me it was left on my voicemail.  He called that a friend or familiy member have used my name and have gotten in some sort of legal trouble. In the back back ground I could hear what was a call center, then he kept pausing to read the script.  I see from the other messages that this is just a scam.  Hopefully I wont hear from them a***n.

yes i have been getting these calls too.  it is a scam.  do not pay them.  i had to let all my credit beurea know, put passwords on my accounts and everything.  they have a lot of information with them about you.  do not verify anything. i even contacted federal investigation.

They called my cell phone from this number and asked me to call this number as my name is involved in a pending legal matter.  The person had a foreign accent and was hard to understand.  He left a voice mail message.  I did not return it; I am s****ing to do***ent the calls that I get from this number and others that I do not recognize.  When I searched online the phone number is said that is was linked to a cell phone # in FL-unpublished and unavailable.

I got a call from this number too and the same heavy over seas accent man, who identified himself as Gary Smith, threatened me with the same script of owing them money.  This has happened to me before unfortunately and after a lot of calls back and forth I learned it is a scam.  They got my information from me applying for a payday loan over the internet.  And that is what they claim I owe for, an unpaid payday loan.  Which I didn't even take a loan out only looked into it and said I owed this loan since 2008.  Funny I have never taken out a payday loan.  I was told that if I didn't pay the $3000+ dollars I owed them that I would receive my court papers in 2-3 weeks.  It's been over 4 months and yeah...still nothing.  They are scammers!!!!  Preying on "not so smart" people.

i received a call from a Gary Smith at Legal Affidavit Processing department. they gave me a case number and said that i needed to pay 500 dollars. i looked the number up and found out it was a scam. i read online that they don't like to be called untouchables witch is a name for a s***bag in india which verified the scam don't let them intimidate you.

Just got a call from an "Officer Eric Johnson" asking to speak with a Bobby (Unaudible). First, they sounded like they were calling from a call center. Second, the call center sounded like one of those over seas centers. As he was on the phone, I googled the number and found this site. I said to him, "So, you're calling me from 305-712-3849 correct?" He confirmed it and I said, "According to a search, you're calling to scam someone." He said, "ya" (which he did alot considering English isn't his 1st language). I found that to be funny and said, "Ok, so you are calling to scam, thank you" and I ***g up.
