Federal law (the TCPA) requires direct signed permission to robo-dial a cell, it DOES NOT MATTER if you have an existing business relationship or not. Even the government, the police, or campus security cannot robo-dial your cell for any reason (including an emergency) without signed consent. People please, report this scam company both to the Do Not Call Registry and to your state Attorney General for violating federal law if they robo-dial your cell without a signed consent agreement!

I called Cigna's main 800 number, and they said it was their health coach line calling, which you can always reach through option 2 through the toll free number on the back of your card. From my conversation with Cigna customer service, I felt confident enough that it was not a scam. I called and they knew I had been diagnosed with arthritis, so that made me even more confident that it wasn't a scam. They connect you with a personal health coach for weight management, stress management, smoking cessation, etc. They do not leave a lot of information and they ask you for some specifics because of HIPAA (health information portability and accountability act).
