I don't have any active credit cards, nor do I speak with anyone over the phone about my financial information.I've transcribed the message below:"Hey guys, Casey Johnson here. Hey we spoke recently about possibly trying to lower your interest rates and reducing your monthly payments on your credit card. So wanted to let you know that I did find the solution through a nonprofit agency. This company calls with an recorded message and ***ody on the line (which is illegal) and says that they are not Google, but will add you to Google if you press 1 to speak to an operator, or will delete you from Google if you do not. If you press 1 and get an operator, they will **** up on you if you do anything but answer their questions asking for personal information. i.e., if you ask them for their company name, which they are required by law to provide, they will **** up on you.

Another number from 'Ashley' is: 603-214-9037 which is New Hampshire. I have a ***ch that the cell phone providers are making money selling the number list to any and all willing to pay the fee. My wife and daughter NEVER received any of these type of calls until they upgraded their phones at the same time. So having an 'unlisted' number does not work anymore. See if you can get your provider to explain how this happened.NEVER, NEVER, NEVER answer any call that is not in your directory.

My suggestion to anyone who receives calls from this number, which is a scam, is to contact the Attorney General's office in the state in which you live. You can google the website and they have a "report a scam" link where you can give the information. The more notices they receive, the more agressive they will be towards these scammers. We have to band together to stop people from taking advantage of others!!!

They've called me from this number 978-570-2305, and from 603-214-9037, and from a few others... I guess they use some kind of autodialer that uses various numbers so you can't just "block" the number. Frustrating! They call my cell phone and waste my minutes. I never answer a number I don't recognize but voicemail activates the recorded message.
