This number keeps calling me regarding my Bally's Fitness account that cancelled 4 years ago and was fully paid up on without a late payment. I now have a local gym membership with automatic payments that are up to date. SCAMMER!!!

I asked The Omni Club Gym (ABC FINANCIAL) to freeze my account bcuz I'd be poor out of town for 3 months. My bank informed me that ABC FINANCIAL took the money from my bank account ANYWAY!!! I simply C****ED my bank card! Oops!
(888) 827-9262
It's a collection agency that my Gym Anytime Fitness is using when your're late on your bill or close the account before paying balance.
(888) 827-9262
Gold's Gym. They use ABC Financial and will not cancel my membership after fulfilling my one year obligation so I c****ed my card number. Watch out for these ***** dogs
(888) 827-9262
If I don't know the number I do not pick up just so you know ABC will try to scam money from members any way they can And this might be a way for them to get money And they do a lot of work for a lot of different gyms around the country

Have been receiving 4-7 calls per day from this number and occasionally I get 1/2 an automated message either on my voice mail or when I answer and tells me it's about my gym membership. Oddly enough the gym I went to was month to month so no contract or commitment and the calls s****ed 2 months after I cancelled.

this number keeps calling me its really annoying, voice recording says its a company ABC never heard of this in my life.
(888) 827-9262
I repeatedly get calls from this number as well. It seems that our personal information is being sold by BOOM fitness, who I have never signed up with- but they somehow got ahold of my personal information and fraudulently charge me at least twice a month! Do not speak with or enter into a contract with BOOM fitness, or fill out any requests for information from their gym- I haven't even done this, and yet they still have a way of obtaining, using, and selling my info- this is now a legal matter!
(888) 827-9262
100% completely inaccurate and the worst advice I have ever read. This number, as with many others, is a phishing scam. They are looking for your credit card info and that's it. The reason for the call is just a ruse. Report them to dontocall.gov. The process takes time but it does work.
(888) 827-9262
I keep missing calls from this number because I am always working when they call. I do not know why they are calling.

Thanks for the tip-off. This number called my cell phone this afternoon while I was at work. Fortunately I was busy talking with a colleague and didn't get to it. But it is annoying that they have my cell # and will probably call a***n. I will just avoid any phone numbers s****ing with 888. BTW, I don't have any gym memberships!

ABC Financial is a ripoff. Here is my story:I made 5 phone calls to ABC since late May concerning my cancelled membership and yet they continue to bill my credit card. I was a member of Escondido Workout in Escondido, CA. I went to the gym one day in late May and it was gone - literally – the building was completely empty and a “for lease” sign on the building. I went to another gym to see if I could find the owner to cancel my membership and the person there told me I could continue going to their gym if I wanted and they would transfer my membership. I told them no thanks; their gym was 10 miles from my house and was not the kind of facility I would ever want to join. They gave me ABC's phone number (888-827-9262) and said ABC would make sure that the membership was cancelled and not transferred to them. I then called ABC and the person I talked to said they would take care of it. However, on my next credit card bill, I was billed a***n by ABC. I called them on 6/15 and the person I spoke with apologized and said it would be taken care of and my June billing would be credited. Then I received my July billing and I was a***n billed by ABC. I called ABC on 8/3 and went over the whole situation a***n with one of their service reps. She said that the only way I could cancel is to go to the club and submit a cancellation directly with them. I tried to explain to her A***N that the club doesn’t exist anymore, that is why I cancelled. And the previous two times I talked to ABC they said they had taken care of it. She said she didn’t know what to tell me, so I asked to speak to the manager (Margaret). I explained the situation a***n to Margaret and she said she would take care of it and be sure I was credited for the last billing. But she said she had to email the club to verify it and then she would call me the next day. I asked her how she could contact the club SINCE IT DOESN’T EXIST ANYMORE and she said she had to do some verification but promised to call me back the next day. She did not call me back. I waited 3 days and then called a***n on 8/6. I spent considerable time with another representative going over the same old story. She said at one point that my membership agreement stated that if the club transferred my membership to another club within 10 miles, that I had to go to the new club and couldn’t cancelr. That is totally bogus; I have the contract in front of me and it says no such thing. In fact, under Membership Cancellation, it says that I “agree to give notice at the club of enrollment” which as I explained several times no longer exists. I asked to speak to Margaret a***n and the rep said she wasn’t available and put me through to her voicemail. I left a detailed voicemail asking why she didn’t call me back as promised and to please do so as this is now bordering on fraud in my opinion. She has not returned my call. Contact the BBB and/or an attorney; these guys are scam artists.

I just got a call from this number, I have a gym membership and my payments are up to date. I have automatic payment come out of my account for my membership fees, my next payment is not due till April 15th and its only April 2, 2009. Not sure what this about, going to speak with the gym tonight when I go for aerobics.

Received a call and called it back. Its ABC Financial for your Gold's Gym membership. The lady was very nice and while I was on the phone resolving my problem I had asked how I can cancel my membership since I dont have time now or money and Gold's Gym said theres no way out. She told me if I move 25 miles away I can cancel.

I'm also a member of Anytime Fitness and just got a call from them, and of course they did not leave a voicemail. I'm going to the gym to straighten it out, I don't think I want anything to do with ABC Finance.
(888) 827-9262
I've gotten a few calls from this number. Never leave a VM.I saw the postings above...I've never been a member of Golds! I belong to another gym, anytime fitness, but my membership with them is up to date. Very odd.
(888) 827-9262

This guy from ABC financial called to get my CC renewal number. He couldn't tell me what CC i use, what number it was, and wanted my CC#. He said it was for Golds Gym. Well, WE DO NOT EVEN USE A CC AT GOLDS GYM. He couldn't tell us ANYTHING regarding my name, gym membership #, address, NOTHING. Do NOT give out your CC to them. They should at least have SOME information about you. I believe this to be a Phishing call. I called Golds Gym, and they confirmed I had NO CC on the acct with them. I have them take it out of my checking acct. NOTHING ELSE. So, BEWARE of these people calling for GOLDS GYM from ABC financial. If Golds needs an update, just swing by your local Golds gym, and update it with them. Do NOT update it with ABC financial.
(888) 827-9262
****s up whenever I answer. I do have a membership to All American Fitness but am paid up...
(888) 827-9262
it is ABC financial, probably about your gym membership. Not that they will know why they have been calling you when you do return there calls. Plus very rude customer service.
(888) 827-9262
This is the number for ABC Financial - the Gold's Gym in Kir****d, WA, for one, uses them for their financial services. If you get a call from them, it could be that your credit card for your membership dues got declined for one reason or another. Best bet is to call and find out what's going on.

I followed up on behalf of an****ociate who keeps receiving calls from this number. The voice message they leave tells the person to call 866-403-6880. This is a company called C.C.A. CCA is a collection agency hired by creditors to collect unpaid debt. If you look up that phone number on this list, you'll see that it's all the same company. If you owe anyone money, these guys will keep calling you. If after 30 days of continued calls, they're unsuccessful at rea****g the person, they can file a lien a***ns you. To avoid this, pay as much as you can. Even the smallest amount shows that you are attempting to repay your debts and not ignore/avoid your financial responsiblities. Good luck.
