It actually *is* American Express Collections Dept. . Not a scam nor spam. I am very late with my latest invoice and they first emailed me, then I got texts. And now they’ve amped it up to aggressive calling. A few times each day. So yeah, wish it was fake but they’re looking for what is owed them.

Idiots that claim to be from Amex and ask for CC # and SS#. Don’t give them any information...they’re liars and thieves and will try and scam you to get your information. Horrible scammers

They have called me multiple times during the day and on two occasions I answered and no one spoke, there was no sound. They also called my parents mutiple times during the day as well.

Called claiming to be from American Express. Claimed I owe AMEX money and that if I didn't purchase gift card to pay the debt, he would have "agents" at my door tomorrow to arrest me. He did not know my name more my address.

I got this call on home phone; No iden***y listed in caller ID...could be AMEX as I have been in touch with them in the last couple of weeks; I'm on a DO NOT CALL list as well as a DO NOT CALL list with AMEX so not sure why they would call me! Sear****g for the number comes up in India...I know no one in India

AMEX swears this call is not from them but I've had the call 3x this week. Made the mistake of calling them back the first time and gave them the last 5 digits of my AMEX card before realizing it was a scam when they ***g up after getting that info. Had to replace my card after giving out that information.
