I have gotten multiple calls for the last several days from “local” phone numbers, but they leave a message saying it’s kohl’s dept store and to call this 1-888 number back. Obviously fishy.

Sorry this a marketing scam to get you to attend one of those time share marketing meetings. It's a trick to get you to pick up a free tablet but as soon as you go there (travel marketing group) you will have to stay and listen to the sales pitch!
