Fraudulent voicemail received pretending to be from the social security administration stating I have a formal complaint filed a***nst my name and social security number and to contact them back immediately, failure to contact back asap results in an automatic refusal to comply. I’ve already submitted a complaint with the social security administration.

Caller convinced my 80 year-old Mother to deposit checks into their bank accounts. Luckily, I was keeping an eye on her and noticed the strange behavior. We stopped payment on the checks before they cleared.

We received a phone call, from this number, on 9/26/2023, at 3:17pm. The man only spoke Spanish, and was telling us that we hadn't paid our light bill. We do speak Spanish. Upon being told we did, pay the bill, he told us to hold on, while he spoke to a supervisor. The phone disconnected. He called a***n, and immediately the phone disconnected. I called the number back, approximately 10 minutes later, there was a recording sa to ING the number is not in service. We did not give any personal information.

Said I took a loan in 2015 and failed to repay. Also, said they tried to reach me by mail and I haven’t received anything by mail. I demanded they send me all the original loan do***entation. I’ve gone as far as to contact my bank to get all 2015 bank statements. They had my name, last 4 of SS# and bank name. I will be signing up for personal monitoring protection. They messed with the wrong woman!
