I received a call from this 800 number, first talking to a young lady stating that I had verbally agreed to a service and I needed to select 5 magazines. The charge for this service was $69.80 but when I informed her I did not know what she was talking about she immediately said she could lower the price to $59.90, but unknowingly I was unaware of this being a monthly fee; therefore, she transferred me to another young lady who informed me I had accepted the offer and needed to verify my credit card number. I was informed that I had made this agreement in July 2010. I asked what company she was****ociated with but was not told and this is when she began to get very rude indicating that she was now during overtime and needed my information regarding my credit card. This is when I found out, it would be a monthly charge for $59.90. I told her I was not interested and if I had made a commitment last year why would she need me to verify my credit card number a***n and this is when she really became rude and threated that this would go on my credit report if I did agree. I said forget it and ***g up.
(888) 555-1212
Asked for personal info and ***g up after I said 'forget it'.
