This number has called our house several times. Since it only comes up as 'Toll Free Call' on the Caller ID we let our answering ma****e take the call. Today (December 1, 2011) they called at 2:45pm (CST). I decided to find out who it was and what they wanted so I answered it. I said, "Hello" about 3-4 times getting louder each time since I knew it was probably a computer. No one ever came on the line and after saying, "Hello" a few times I finally heard a click and nothing was there. When the call disconnected I decided to call it back. It rang about 1 time and then a recording came on that said, "Thank you for calling AT&T." NEWS FLASH AT&T: Your little telemarketing scheme might actually work if you bothered to SAY SO****ING when the person you're calling answers the phone!! I think I speak for everyone else when I say I DON'T appreciate being harassed by all these "dead air" phone calls!! Either have someone on the other end when I answer the phone or DON'T CALL AT ALL!!

They keep calling my prepaid cellphone with recorded message inviting to call this number or go to linksnotallowed.attlinksnotallowed and ****ing up. I called number and they offered to leave my name and phone number to be removed from their list. I did that and got 2 more calls 3 days later.

they can call you under the do not call law if you get any service from them and list your number. It could be land line, internet, or cell phone. It cons***utes a prior business relationship and overrides any do not call list. If you do any business with ATT or subsidaries that is why they are call spamming. If you don't then they shouldn't bother

Just AT&T trying to push their ****py U-Verse service. Two of my neighbors ordered it and can't stand it: digital dropouts up the ying yang and ****py sound. They're both canceling it. AT&T has ***** products, horrible service and terrible management. How on Earth does it make any money with such inferior product?

They call and don't leave a message, I called the # and it's AT&T. You can leave your name and # to be taken off their calling list is what the message said.
