Got a strange call from this number the person on the phone was asking for a lot of info on someone who was not connected to my number. They got scared when i demanded to speak with a supervisor. After waiting a long time a Woman got on and asked what was wrong. I informed her I strongly objected to being harrassed for info on someone I didn't know. She then gave me another 800 number claiming it was their office number. They claim to be the Northland Group watch your selves with these folk don't give them any info. They don't appear to be totally upfront.

I keep receiving calls from these idiots. In the past I have had several places call about a person who has the same name as my husband. I ask them the birthdate of the person they are calling for and it is always this other persons, usually after they argue with me. They seem to get really nasty after you s**** asking them questions. Do they have nothing better to do than to bother people who do pay their bills. There has got to be a way to stop this. Here is their fax # 1-952-831-7356 just in case anyone wants to fax them a nice little letter.

I don't know who they are and I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST and it is suppose to stop these people from calling. I do not owe anything that warrants a collection agency to call me. Point is: I AM ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST and how are they getting through and is this a scam? Just beware that it could be a scam.

Don't know who they are. Answered phone said*****o 5 times and ***ody responded. ***g up after that, they could at least answer you. I don't think these places should be allowed to bother a person. We are on the do not call list. Will block the number if call back.

If you tell the caller, "Can you please remove my phone number from your call list?" by law they have to. They record their own calls and are regulated (supposedly).

This is a collection agency that buys up old debt, much of it past the statute of limitations, and hopes that the people they call are more ****** than they are. It's fun to play with their heads: act upset and soon pretend to become hysterical, keep them on the phone forever and ever, then when they are at the end of their patience, laugh, tell them that they have the wrong number (since they usually do), tell them what bottom-feeding sociopaths they are, and **** up.

After it called and ***g up on me, I called this number back. The guy answered saying, "Northland Group". (Their website says they are a collection agency.) I asked why they ***g up. He really didn't explain but said they were looking for someone. I said that they had the wrong number and ***g up on him. Call their toll free number bac****!!!!

This number continues to call even after they are told, nicely, that this is a business and to remove the number. They would not say what their business does or is and who they are trying to call. Northland Group seems to be completely unprofessional and unable to get to whome they are looking for without conflict.

If you tell them on the first sentence that you are recording the call (and do record it) they will go nuts. Since you have told them in advance that you are recording the call (very important to do that by law), you will then be able to very easily sue them.

No message was left but it showed up on my Caller ID as Unavailable. I keep getting annoying collection calls from someone that has given my number and she must owe everybody on the face of the earth. I don't pick up calls from calls I do not recognize.

I rec'd a call from this number. They asked for someone I have never heard of. I said I wasn't the person. A gentleman acted as if I was lying. So I ***g up. The very next day, I rec'd another call from this number. It went to my voice mail. A North Group rep left a msg for this same person. I called them back to explained to them that they have the wrong number. They insisted that the person they are looking for called them from my cell phone because they have the number on file. The gentleman was rude and disrespectful and then he ***g up on me. So you know I called back to tell him how rude he was. He began shouting and yelling and of course I did too. Eventually, I ***g up. This company is so unprofessional. They will definitely hear from me a***n.
