Called a from this company about being pre approved for****istance. They left a call back number, so called them back and explained to the person that I never have applied for****istance and did not know why I got this. the gentleman stated to just block the number. There was no way to remove my number.

It is BGE Peak Rewards. If you call them (888-309-7325) and ask them to stop, they just might. I did. The man I spoke to said he would put my number on their Do Not Call list. He acknowledged that it is an automated marketing calling system. "It may take 24 to 48 hours..." so we will see if the calls actually stop.
