In addition, I have never received ANY formal mail or bill from this company regarding collections which I'm near certain I would if they were actually legit. I called the # back from an anonymous line to see what it was and normally when you do that it will go to a receptionist. This sounds funny when you call the number back. I WOULD RECOMMEND NOT GIVING OUT ANY INFORMATION TO THIS COMPANY. IF YOU OWE MONEY FOR SO****ING, THEY CAN SEND YOU A FORMAL BILL AND THEY SHOULD ALREADY BE AWARE OF YOUR ADDRESS IF THEY ARE LEGIT. Check your state laws. I believe here in MI that they have a law stating that you do not have to verbally deal with debt collectors and you may request only mail communication and they must stop calling if you ask them to. It sounds to me that if it's the same person calling everyone, that it could be a scam. They only have one employee? Or is Richard Silver just THAT good at his job? Sounds fishy.

Got a call last night from a Richard (but you can call him "****") at Leading Edge Recovery. He said I owe over $5,000.00 to Capital One Visa from several years ago. First, I've never had Capital One; two, I've never lived at the address **** gave. When I told him that, he demanded the last 4 digits of my social. I refused, and tempers escalated from that point, ending with me calling him an a------, and to f--- off.My wife received nasty calls from other individuals from this outfit in the last few days. I should think we'd have received a written notice in the mail, and we probably would have, if it were a professionally run company instead of some ****ey Mouse fly by night.

They continually call a residential line in my name which is used solely for faxing; it is NEVER answered by a human. Guess they are not intelligent enough to figure out it is a fax line. They also continue to call three cell phones my company owns; they have been told to cease and desist calling the phones and numbers owned by a legal corporation! A***n, they don't adhere to federal laws! So, I'll be sending the ILL Attorney General a complaint giving dates and times of all calls (my company phones are all set up for detailed logs of incoming and outgoing calls) and ATT has provided details on the home phone. Everyone else needs to do the same: file the complaints.

This site is interesting. I put this phone # in a search engine to see who was calling me because the calls s****ed several days ago and they do not leave a message, they just keep calling over and over. I don't answer my phone if I don't recognize the number. I can see that this is going to be a fun one to have to contend with.
