The CID showed "toll free caller", I did not answer but blocked this number. To block calls like this I got a Panasonic KX-TGE245B that allows me to block up to 250 numbers and/or area-codes. Panasonic has several new 2014 models that will block that many numbers. You simply save the CID to the block list.

Repeated calls claiming that "they aren't selling anything" but are going to save me money. Claim to want to "verify their information about my high electric bills." (I actually already have solar hot water and solar electric; my electric bills are about zero). Has all the signs of a scam. Reported them for ftc do-not-call list violation.
