This may NOT be AT&T. According to AT&T, their surveys, if they do them, are always with 48-hrs. AT&T fraud unit is investigating; this may be a S**** to determine & sell "working" numbers using the name AT&T, such as when you call back, etc. BE VERY CAREFUL with this number when it shows up on your CID. If there's word back that it's legit, it'll be posted here. Probably it's NOT.

I get calls from this number as well as MANY OTHER NUMBERS and I am registered with the Do Not Call Registry for both my home and cell phone. Luckily, I have Ringmaster service on my home phone; therefore, I never even look to see who is calling my home phone unless it rings the special ringmaster ring. I do not give that number out to ANYONE BUT FAMILY/FRIENDS. This seems to help with the home phone but I am s****ing to get calls on the cell phone as well as Text Messages and I have no idea of how to make them stop short of having 100 friends text them back all day, every day for about a week while hiding their numbers. Maybe it will put their cell messages in overload and explode their phones!!! Hmmm... one can wi*** :D Also, watch out for "s****ers" too. That's where someone can make the number "appear" to be ANY number... even a number that is in an invalid format. When that happened to me, I threatened them with the police by telling them the police COULD and WOULD get CORRECT phone records despite their s****ing if I filed a police report. That threat did help minimize the number of calls I was getting. Based on my own personal experience, I know this was truly helpful a few years ago in the state of GA and hopefully, nothing has c****ed. The police and phone companies can determine exactly where calls really come from even when a different number shows up on your caller ID. If you are like me, you are sick of phone scams! LOL! We all need to pull together and take legal action a***nst these goof***** if it doesn't stop. I'm not only referring to this number in particular but ALL NUMBERS who seem to be scammers and who repeatedly harrass us like we have nothing better to do!!! If we all reported them to the police, maybe they would STOP!!! Someone needs to teach them a lesson. It may as well be us... the abused!! :)

I didn't take the call when it first came in. I read these comments and decided the easiest way to make them stop was complete their survey. SO.......I called the number and typed in my phone number where the call came in and the voice said this wasn't the number they were calling for their survey and good-bye. I added this number to my DO NOT ANSWER contact name on my iPhone. So if they call a***n...........I won't be answering their calls anymore. Can't say I didn't try to make them go away.

I call the number back from a land line to tell them to stop but it gives you a recording that they are a survey group and they dont fall under the do not call list etc etc. The only way to get them to stop calling is to answer it and tell them that way but it eats up your mins.

it is the survey company for ATT you can dial it back anytime after it has called you and will only take "about 2 minutes". i had a miserable experience with two different customer service agents when i called to ask about my bill. it was very helpful to be able to leave the 30 second voice message to make sure they know why i had a horrible waste of 50 minutes from the multiple bad agents from non english speaking countries. get a timer ready so you know when the end is coming...

ATT calling about a complaint call I made to them asking how it was handled. If they had good cable service, they wouldn't have to worry about complaint calls. I asked them to quit calling, (6 times in one day s****ing just after 8:00am), they said they couldn't do that and that one I answered the survey, the calls would stop. This phone number belongs to AT&T. They are calling to do a survey (usually after they performed a service for you or after you called them). If your voice mail picks up, a message won't be left for you. The survey calls will normally stop once you answer the phone and complete their survey. I feel like we are being forced to answer their surveys in order to stop their calls. AT&T is quite persistent in phoning you almost every day until you answer their survey. I pay AT&T for my phone number to be private to avoid telemarketing calls. I’ve told AT&T that I want them to stop calling me with their surveys, but they replied that they cannot stop the survey calls. Usually, when I ask a company to not call me for telemarketing, they comply. However, AT&T is unable to comply with their customers’ requests. By the way, AT&T repaired my phone line this week, and the next day my caller ID showed 4 calls from AT&T (per the number listed in this complaint page). Though, today (Friday) I didn’t receive any calls from AT&T…hope they won’t try phoning me a***n next week.

The 888-211-7690 info in below this cure all I've written. The best way to keep anyone from calling you is to go to Office Depot and buy the Panasonic Model # KX-TGA*** cordless handset system, mine came with 2 handset a base unit and 1 extra charger and batteries. It will call block up to 50 numbers. As long as the number shows up on CID then it will block. It works independent of the phone company block feature. It's built into the phone. I called this number back and it is an AT&T survey and sales line. I returned from work and had 12 calls from this number in a single day. They didn't leave any message, so I'm guessing they are trying to sneak in without you knowing who they are. By the way I work with a phone company and can find out where any number comes from.
