Tell them to remove you from their calling list (and they'll stop mailing you flyers and catalogues too, if you wish.) The guy I spoke to was polite, and he said it was an automatic dialling system. He also said it would take a few days for them to remove my info.

This number belongs to Sears. They called twice today. The first time they called, they asked to speak to Thomas, and then the guy on the line said Sorry, wrong number. The second time they called was 8 p.m. and asked me if I was the local high school. When I said no, they said that someone had ordered a refridgerator and left my number. When I asked why he would be calling for a high school at 8 p.m. on the Friday of a long weekend, he got angry and finally ***g up.

If this is truly Sears calling about warranty, I hope Sears is reading these reports because I won't ever buy another product from Sears as a result of this annoying telemarketing - that's the honest truth. Having read the caller complaints on this site, it must be Sears calling to high pressure me to extend my warranties ... whatever happened to just sending a paper bill and allowing me to decide without a high pressure telemarketer trying to con me into a service I shouldn't need if Sears stood behind its merchandise? And they always want your cc# ... I prefer to pay by cheque so I can control the use of my credit now that iden***y theft has become quite commonplace.

Other sites identify this as a call from Sears offering extended warranty - likely so, it s****ed just after we bought a dishwasher. Apparently it's a call center in Montreal that is using an auto-dialer to dial several numbers simultaneously and the telemarketer talks to the first person who answers. Call Sears and tell them to put you on the DO NOT CALL list - I can't believe a company like Sears would use such an ignorant practice to contact its customers.

I contacted my phone company and they said that they can't find out who is calling. Here is the answer they gave *****e 1-877-889-2024 telephone number is not an Aliant number so I cannot determine the owner of the account. I have attempted to call the number, but it appears to be a remote number that is not connectable from my location. If the calls do continue, it can be considered harassment and you could file a report with your local police department.

Still getting 3 to 4 calls every day. I noticed that I had a Voice Message from some Mortgage Brokerage and the strange thing was that the phone number was (123)-456-7890. Obviously this is NOT a valid number, which means that there is some technology available to fake a phone number. . . . . and, I bet our 877-889-2024 "friends" are using the same technology.

They called here twice today (within 1.5hrs) and all I got was dead air when I answered. They then called a third time, about 30 minutes later and after a couple seconds of dead air a guy came on and asked for my parents. I said they weren't available and he replied with 'okay bye'. :S Weird.
