DON'T call the calling number back! Instead, call 866-491-2247. This is Sears Customer Service. Tell them to remove you from their calling list (and they'll stop mailing you flyers and catalogues too, if you wish.) The guy I spoke to was polite, and he said it was an automatic dialling system. He also said it would take a few days for them to remove my info.

This is definitely Sears Ca***a calling about warranties. Just call the number back and tell them you are not interested in further calls, "take off the list"

This number belongs to Sears. They called twice today. The first time they called, they asked to speak to Thomas, and then the guy on the line said Sorry, wrong number. The second time they called was 8 p.m. and asked me if I was the local high school. When I said no, they said that someone had ordered a refridgerator and left my number. When I asked why he would be calling for a high school at 8 p.m. on the Friday of a long weekend, he got angry and finally ***g up.

Called us 5 times now within 10 days even though their number is blocked. If this is truly Sears calling about warranty, I hope Sears is reading these reports because I won't ever buy another product from Sears as a result of this annoying telemarketing - that's the honest truth. Never a***n will I shop at Sears. The only company that comes close to being worse than Sears in terms of aggressive telemarketing like this is The Brick. They, too, lost all of our future business.

Sears Ca***a. Called the number back and was directed to a customer service representative. The TV I bought last year - seems that the warranty is about to expire so they want you to extend the warranty.

Thanks to previous reporters. I know the warranty on my lawnmower, washer and dryer are expiring. Can't be bothered. If I had agreements on every product I had, I'd be in the poor house!

Apparently Sears Ca***a. They just lost all my business. Times must be tough. Spammers s****ing their Caller ID? Not cool. Being on the National Do Not Call List, naturally we just reported this number to: https://www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca/plt-cmp-eng

Calling once a day - three days in a row. They won't give up even though their number has been blocked on our phone. Reported to CRTC on Feb. 16th, 2011.

This number keeps calling but won't leave a message or speak when we do answer.

Phones many times in a week, never leaves any messages. I finally answered and it is Sears Ca***a wanting you to extend your waranty on appliances. If you refuse, they offer a repair service program. They hardly take "No thank you" as an answer. Really a pain!

When ***ody is on the line after answering, it is usually the telemarketing com****r working out what time of day a phone is actually answered, so that the actual telemarketer will call a***n around that time.
