We canceled our Direct TV 4 days ago and this number has been calling several times a day since. When you answer, no one is there, and when you call the number back, you get an answering ma****e. So, I called Direct TV's customer service line to complain. After much running-around, and the man claiming they were calling to update me on my account (which we canceled), I finally convinced him to take me off the call-list. If you're getting calls from this number and want it to stop, call customer service, but don't let them be ****s (as they surely will)!

Cancilled a few days ago and the phone calls are s****ing to roll in. Now they just call and **** up. Think they have been selling my number because I am now getting calls for security systems, etc. Thanks to this post, I know who the phone number is from ~ 1 (877) 843-0544.........I have been with Direct TV for years and I don't think my bill stayed the same for more than 3 months at a time. Tried to get HD once but after 2 no-shows and one show and didn't know why he was there, I gave up. Get this, they said they wouldn't bill me for the new contract but they couldn't take it off my account. "That's the way our system works". I was so enraged! I yell'd "...you can put satelites up in the sky but can't fix my account?" Always went out if it even thought of raining. Terrible, terrible company. Got U-Verse now and much happier (so far).Thanks for letting me vent.:)

After many annoying evenings of wat****g TV only to have the picture turn to snow, sear****g for a satellite, I canceled my Direct TV. .In the past month, this occurred at least 15 times. They should have to reimburse me! We had a contract which expires in May 2011. I told them I wont pay for any early cancellation because they could never get their act together to send someone to our home to fix the problem. Too many "no shows" from their technicians tell me the company is unreliable.
