you need to hold onto the line for a few moments. for whatever reason there is a lag time between the call initiation and the call connecting. they recently installed a music system that plays music when you pick up to know that someone is there. It is time warner cable's bill collection line, if you are past due on your cable bill, and live in norther PA or Ohio you can pretty much expect to receive calls from them until your bill is up to date.

This call was Time Warner Cable of Northeast Ohio. I had phone service c****ed yes****ay and they were calling to confirm that it was working correctly. It would be better if their caller ID did just that and identified who the caller was.

Its time warner. You are behind on a bill and collections companies do not have to follow the do not call list. if you want them to stop calling you, you have to tell them to send everything in writing and not to call you. Their lines are recorded. I used to work in collections. this is federal law

Are you behind on your bill? I owe a past payment and have a disconnection notice. I never answer bill collectors' calls because they never want to work anything out with me. It's always "well, you need to pay x amount by x date or we'll have to report you to the bureau". Reporting me isn't going to get you your money any faster if I don't have it. Anyways, They're probably calling you to collect their money, I don't think the "Do Not Call" list protects you from that.

They called me at 8:00 am on a Sa****ay. I did not answer since I did not know who it was, and they did not leave a message. I live in Ohio, so I would not be surprised if they were based in Ohio, as "stop calling me" mentioned.
