Last year I went to FYE and purchased a CD for my wife. I was offered 4 free issues on Time Magazine, with the option to cancel. I took them, placed the order for Time for additional issues. In Dec 10 or Jan 11, I placed my order and got charged, which was fine. I just got an automatic charge today on my CC that I didn't authorize. Called 877-754-4892, Time Mag was "not recognized" and neither was my zip code. Went into the queue and got disconnected in about 30 seconds, twice. Put the dispute in with my bank, hope they can help. Also, I will never do business with FYE a***n.

I got 2 free magazine subscriptions when I had bought concert tickets this past year and the billing for those showed up on my banking statement. 62.00$ for OK! magazine. What a joke. I called the number and pressed 0 and spoke with a 'real' person within 2 minutes (6:45 on a sunday night), must just be good timing. It took a bit of convincing that I wanted this subscription completely canceled as well as the other one i had order but he did it and was polite. The only thing that upset me was that i never received a notice or warning like you do with the newspaper or other magazines.

I received a free year's subscription to People Magazine when I bought books at Books A Million in May 2010. Today, 60.98 was posted to my account and this number was listed with the transaction. I called the number and reached an automated service. Of course, the computer animated person couldn't understand a word I said and she was only able to tell me what I already knew...$60.98 was taken out of my account! SOOO, I'm going to stop payment on this transaction.
