This number calls asking for someone who used to have this number. When told there isn't such person & told to remove my number from their call list & do not call back. They disreguard my requests & continues to call & harrass me daily from as early as 7:00AM to as late as 10:00PM & calls as many as 10 times a day!

Have received this call several times and of course the callers don't speak English as a first language so you can't understand them. They state that they are from Allied Interstate and are trying to collect a debt that I don't have. They garble the name of the company so much that it is impossible to understand what they are saying. When I balk at what they are saying they say they need to verify my SSN, like I'm going to do that with someone I don't know over the phone! They always say they already have the number just need me to verify that the last 4 digits are correct. Sure, and that then gives them my SSN! How ****** do they think I am????? The last call just a couple minutes ago, the guy got kind of rude, saying that the only way to stop this calling every day is to verify the information. I told him he can keep calling every day if he wants to waste his time but I'm not giving him anything over the phone, if he wants to mail me so****ing I will look at it. Don't do this!!! All they are doing is fishing for Social Security Numbers.

I get collection calls for everyone who has lived in my large apartment complex who have collectors after them. But many (over 10)collection agencies call me wanting to speak with many different people. I tell the collectors calling me to take me off the list & I don't know all these people, but Since we all have the same address BUT different apt.numbers, the collection agencies call me a***n & a***n asking for different names. I have reported them to the FTC,BBB,Attny.General,Consumer Servives,AND had an attorney write a letter BUT this agency-ALLIED INTERSTATE (877)642-1263 & 866-753-3671 is ONE of the worst & Won't stop calling asking for different people. They will only take me off of 1 name at a time so every time they will call for a different name but MY SAME PHONE NUMBER(that I've had for over 10yrs.)

Got Allied Interstate number, 800-811-4214, from another comment. Called them up and they were looking for someone else. They removed my number. I recommend that if you do not have any debts that you do not know about to give them a call so they can remove your number. They did not give me a hard time. They just asked if I knew this person and I told them I did not.

Just recvd a call from a guy, very similiar to everyone else out here, he was looking for my sister who lives 3 towns over ! he also said (mostly in broken english) the name of the company, i could barley understand him over his Indian accent ! he repeated it, but still no good. I ***g up, then called the number back, he ***g up on me !

called Allied Interstate at 800 811-4214 and talk to their Customer Service rep. If they confirm they've got the wrong person tied to your number, they'll stop the calls. you have to give them the number appearing if you have caller id.

i get these call too. they wanted to collect for a bill that was from 1993. everytime i said that im not paying for it-they got a at***ude. im on the west and i have no memory of that bill i was in my 20's. they kept calling and calling. this s****ed last week... today early my time they called me and i was sleep so i said im sleeping. it turned out that i had to pretend to be someone else to try to stop this.. they were rude and yelling like a *******. they are getting your info from a zombie. they pay for old debts. i even told them that i will report them to the police and they are harrassing. then they blocked the number and called **** up many time where i had to shut my phone off..then i called back and asked for the supervisor. he was rude.. i told him that he need to talk to his reps on the harrassment and the call and **** up. he told me that he will make sure that i never use this number a***n. REPORT THEM AND SUE THEM.

picked up, heard a short dial tone. a person with unintelligible english asked for a name similar but not the same as my husband's. the person gave me their name, which i did not understand. i asked the name of their company and the nature of their business - the caller sounded dodgy and gave me a company name that i could not understand, even after repeating it 3 times. "so****ing or other corportation."they asked to verify my SSN - actually ASKED for my SSN. i refused and demanded to know who they were asking for. they gave me the original wrong name and after pressing them, they gave me the address of the person they were looking for. of course it was not our address.after this thoroughly irritating exc****e, i asked them to remove our number from their list and i also threatened to report them to the FCC, during which the caller was blithering and trying to get me off the phone.really sketchy operation - DO NOT give out any information to these people, it sounds really illegal.

I get this call once or twice EVERY DAY! And they never answer when I pick up...they just **** up as soon as I'm connected. AT&T is no help. They won't block numbers UNLESS YOU PAY THEM TO DO IT under a parental control option. Good grief. I'm on the 'do not call' registry. This is clearly a Marketing scam trying to identify 'live' phone numbers.
