This caller rarely leaves a message. When they do, a ma****e voice will ask for someone I have never heard of. The voice will ask for that someone and request you press 1 if it is that someone or press 2 if it is not. I don't know where they got my number, I have no unpaid debts, but they are very persistant. Obviously they are phishing for information.

Very strange call I don't think its a bill collector. He says his name is Thomas Richards and says he can help us but you have to be willing or so****ing. I think its someone trying to get someones credit card numbers! We get this recording on our answering ma****e over and over until we shut it it off. We get a call like this at least once a week. This call is a little unsettling. I hope these individuals and others like them are investigated, they are up to so****ing and its not good either.

Just music playing - called at 1/22/09 at 3:29, 5:03 and a***n at 5:06. Called number back only got busy signal! At 5:15 caller asked for someone who has not lived here for more then 4 years. Caller ID did not pick-up #. I answered to fast! Told them to remove my # or I would turn them over to Maryland State's Attorney.

Female caller had a heavy Indian accent, left message that my calling card had been activated, and to call back for dialing details. The lady's accent was so terrible, the number was impossible to understand. I have ordered no calling card or long-distance service, so this was definitely related to some scam or ripoff.

Have had numerous calls from this number for about a month. Every time I answer it is a recording with a man named Steve Harris? - he never says my name or what it is regarding, just that my do***ents were sent to him and he will have to make a decision on my behalf if I don't call 1-800-213-9519 immediately. I just ignored the calls at first because it sounded like a scam, but now we are getting the calls a 7 am and late at night. I finally called it back and I could barely understand the person on the phone, but it was MRS****ociates. They looked up my phone number and my name and husbands name, and the lady said she couldn't find anything on record, but that if I gave her my social she could do a full check, and then if necessary take my number off their list. Of course I refused, and I asked if there was a Steve Harris there and she said no. What kind of scam is this place??? I know we don't any collectors so I am sure they have the wrong number, but it is getting ridiculous.

I received a call from this number. It was a recording of an angry guy yelling at me... "I'm Stephen Harris and your paper work came up for review. Before I take any action I would like to talk to you in person. You can reach me at 1 (800) ___-____" so****ing... I don't remember the number.I don't owe any money or have legal or credit problems, and they never mentioned the name of the person they were trying to reach, as in probably any ****er will do. It must be some kind of scam to get you to call them. I'll probably just block their number next time they call. He was really trying to sound like a cop or angry layer. It really ****ed me off!!!!Thanks for writing these. Now when he Googles himself, he will find out he is a ****!

This time it left an automated and repeated meassage on my answering ma****e that it was from Steven Harris and said to call him back 1-800-213-9519. He stated it was brought to his attention this morning and he has to make a decision. Does not state what decision or even what he is talking about. Everything is very ***ue that he mentions, but comes off with trying scare with intimidation and almost a threatening voice. Upon calling the 800 number that he left on our answering ma****e, It answered with a woman's automatated voice, stating out session could not completed at this time, said good bye and ***g up.

Caller did not identify himself, looking for my mother, when I said I have not lived with her in over 30 years, or spoke with her in 10 years, I asked how he got my number, he refused to say. I asked him to remove my number from his list, and he said no, he will continue to call this number no matter what. I said I did not want him f....ing calling my home a***n, and he was very rude and state I will keep calling your home as much as I want and will not remove your number from my list. I thought this was a law they must remove your number when requested.

MRS****ociates. Call me all the time looking for "Chris Martin" and once I state they have the wrong number they get very rude and s**** asking me questions about myself which I refuse to give them. One call I had even had a woman offering up someones social security number to me without even verifying who I was!! [email protected] and [email protected] are 2 contacts that I've emailed to ensure my number is off of their calling lists - however good luck with getting anything resolved. The last call I had from MRS on 9/30 was told 20-30 minutes later that my phone number didn't exist in their database.

It is a debt collector and they have no regards to the fact the person they are calling for does not live in your house. They will continue to call. I am sure theyy have several harassment suits. I am now pretending I am going to pay the debt of the person they call for in order to find out who they represent so that I will never do business with them a***n.

The number is 800.213.9519. Got a guy from India who asked my name and then my number and simply said 'We'll remove your number from our list.' I asked what this company was and all he said was 'it's a financial company'.

Educate yourself on these and other telephone harasser****** 'em where it hurts THEM the most.When they're harassing you about someone else's debt, or if it's your debt and it's a collector that's been hired and you'd rather deal with the people that you made the debt with, go to the Federal Trade Commission site on a Cease and Desist letter...obtaining all the information you can from the caller first.
