FRAUD!!!! A call from another number calls. An automated voice says they have an urgent message about a resent c****e to my account and give this number to call. An automated voice asked me to verify who I am before they give you the message (I did not answer, they were wrong anyway). I called Verizon using 611. Verizon said NONE OF THE NUMBERS THEY GAVE WERE VERIZON. They are turning it over to their fraud department.

BTW, They are using a toll free number so you cannot block the number you are calling from. With toll free numbers, since they are paying the bill they get the caller id information, whether you are unlisted or have call blocking.

They called impersonating Verizon Wireless. Probably scammers, trying to get money by an automated system call.

I also received a card wanting to talk about 'my annuity'. No address was on the card. Only the (877) 403-6318 phone number and an uncancelled stamp (post office fraud?). 4400 Route 9 Suite 1000, Freehold NJ 07728 is a Regus Virtual Office location. Renters share the use of conference rooms with cable TV, videoconferencing, live telephone answering operators, etc. to make things seem as if you have a big, important office.(FYI an annuity is a sort of hybrid insurance/investment agreement whereby you invest money for a specific period of time (10 years for example). You pick the stocks/bonds to invest in, and you get the earnings paid to you in a lumb sum, or for life, in monthly payments, beginning at the end of the annuity period (with a guarantee return of whatever your investments earn over the period, but at least 5% minimum (for example). They can get complicatd. Annuities can be a good thing, but they often have hidden costs and turn out not to be so good.

I actually received TWO of the same cards in the same mail delivery today. At the top it reads: "This communication is to inform you that you may have an 401(k) that has reached the end of its surrender period.""An" 401(k)??? AN?Same antique car stamp, same lack on info others mentioned. Scheduling Department? There must be a lot of ****** people out there for these scams to work. Just out of curiosity, I called the number, got a recorded message saying the call may be recorded and I waited about a minute. No one answered. I doubt if they would have liked what I would have said. The guy must have been taking a **** or so****ing.

Received the same card mentioning an annuity has reached the end od its surrender period. Please contact scheduling department to discuss options. I cashed in a very small under $100.00 annuity, Roth 401K or so****ing like that years ago. The card does say to disregard the notice if you do not have an in-force annuity contract.I am curious as to whom has some old information about me, however there is not enough information about who is sending this card to warrant a call back to the (877) 403-6318 number.

Received telephone from this number, did not answer, no message was left. A week or so later, received a postcard in the mail from "Scheduling Department" stating I was being informed that I might have an IRA that has reached the end of its surrender period and instructing me to call this number. All my finances are handled by my bank of 35+ years and monitored by my CPA. I have NOT called the number as do not wish to become more involved or provide any information.

I received a postcard referencing the same telephone number. This one was "to inform you that you may have an annuity that has reached the end of its surrender period". I smell a rat. It's headed for the shredder.

I got the same card no name of a company or address just a number to call, and the stamp was not canceled as well. Very strange. What is an Annuity Contract?
