Seen a charge on my account statement of $104.99 from Norton. The contact number was also 877-294-5265 AZ. I did not call the number, but instead called Norton directly which I got from googling Norton website. After speaking with a Norton representative, I discovered the auto renewal feature for my Norton subscription was turned on. Norton did refunded a portion of my money though.

I called the number on the bill (Charged $124.99)first before calling my bank, huge mistake, the person kept on asking too many questions that made me too uncomfortable to answer to the point I kept saying you can ask me a different question then that.. until I finally let them know that they had to be a scam. Thankfully I was not giving out my personal information like they wanted.

I was charged $58.88 for NORTON *ANNUAL RENEWAL 877-294-5265. I had Norton anti-virus on an old computer, but no longer have it, so it seems impossible they could push any updates to my computer. I called, talked to customer rep, and was told I would be refunded the total amount, and would be taken off the annual renewal list. He explained that when you install Norton, there is a check-box for annual renewals, that is checked by default, and followed by an email notification. Of course, I don't remember that, and that the default is backwards. Now, it's wait and see if the refund shows up.
