These folks are calling me and also have apparently decided that my phone number is****ociated with someone who has a student loan. It's not me -- I had student loans with Chase that have been paid off for 15-20 years. They also do not leave a message, so I'm not responding to them. After all, I owe them NOTHING. They could at least have the courtesy to leave a message.
(866) 905-8941 - March 2nd, 2010 5:00am
my parents have been recieving calls non stop from these people. I am a 31 yr old women who is stationed in Germany. They call them nonstop and when asked to remove their number the idiot told me they can call up to 9pm by law.He also then told me that he cant remove it from the system. My loans are being deferred, can they not get a freakin clue.
(866) 905-8941 - October 1st, 2010 10:49am
This place har***** you for your student loan. I have been called by them in one day a total of 10-15 times. They will call every hour s****ing at 8am and not quitting till 9pm. Sometimes they call multiple times in one hour. This is everyday. I hate this place. There's a reason I can't pay the **** bill- I can't afford it.
(866) 905-8941 - January 8th, 2010 3:17pm
I dont know who this company is and they keep calling me. I dont wish to be disturbed by them any longer. My final student loan payment was made in July of 2009 to Sallie Mae, how do I get this place to finally stop calling me as they continue to call my home when I have no business with them? charmaine
(866) 905-8941 - June 16th, 2010 4:00am
I have new Comcast number and obviously has been recycled. Caller ID says USA Funds. Likely a debt collector looking the prior user of this number. Have been recieving calls for some else from Sallie Mae and others trying to collect on a student loan. Just need to return or answer the call to let them know and stop calling.
(866) 905-8941 - February 21st, 2010 8:19pm
someone keeps calling my number for a Chasity which is not her number and I do not know a Chasity. My number is 317-895-9912. I am the only one that lives at this number and my name is Irene
(866) 905-8941 - September 27th, 2010 12:49pm
Its more like harassment for student loan repayment. I'm on the verge of bankruptcy and can't pay. Two years unemployed but they keep calling.

Got like 4 calls from this number today. When I called the number back, the lady identified the number as belonging to Student****istance Services and asked if I was who the ID said I was - I told her yes. Then she says "this call is to inform you that your account is current and has been current since ...". What the...!! I tell her, I'm aware of my account status I've already spoke with Sallie Mae - please stop calling me. What is going on here - I'm trying to work so that I CAN pay my student loans and these people continously harass me for what... absolutely nothing. It would be helpful if they were so adamant about calling BEFORE a new loan comes up for reimbur*****t and not wait almost 3 months when I'm 60 days overdue. Come on SM... I pay my loans on time EVERY MONTH! So if I'm overdue one week - PLEASE call me then.

(866) 905-8941 - September 28th, 2009 4:00am
I am having the same problem with this number calling my house constantly. I just called Sallie Mae as my loan is deferred until 2012. They said they are not the ones calling and think it is a hoax. I wish I knew who I could call or write to get them to stop. She wanted me to verify my address and name. I said no, you have the # since you called me. She said phone numbers c****e. I said well, I am not verifying anything to anyone on a phone call..goodbye!
(866) 905-8941 - July 1st, 2009 4:00am
These people are lazy, ignorant and close to being ******. The computer is never wrong! Right? Ever hear of GIGO (Garbage In Garbage Out). Treat them as debt collector and file complaints with BBB, FTC, FCC and your attorney general's office if you've never had a student loan or it's paid off.I've been retired for over 5 years. Neither I nor any member of my family has EVER had a student loan. These people don't even have the guts to put their name on CID. Wonder what they are hiding from?
(866) 905-8941 - February 18th, 2009 5:00am
go see your county procuseter office. federal law says they have to s**** the call as this is "their first name followed by their last name calling on behalf of (company name) is first name last name there ?failure to do so is a $ 10,000.00 fine per call.the county will stop any and all calls to your phone.then as its inter-state go file a charge with the county sherrifs office and then if you have a city police department file a charge with them.
(866) 905-8941 - September 28th, 2009 4:00am
To add to my previous comment. IF you have ATT and have most features, you can do this by adding the number to a list that blocks it from calling you. I am sure they have more numbers but maybe worth a try. I just added them.To activate Selective Call Rejection: Listen for a dial tone and press *60. Listen for the announcement of current "on/off" status. Listen for announcements outlining the available options. Press 3 to activate your updates.
(866) 905-8941 - February 11th, 2009 5:00am
We keep getting calls from these people too. They also told us that they were with Sallie Mae. They wanted us to verify social security numbers and other confidential info. We told them that they can tell it to us and we'll tell them whether they have the right info. Of course, they didn't have it and we weren't about to release it. Sallie Mae needs to check into this company.
(866) 905-8941 - August 18th, 2009 9:38pm
Think they are debt collectors. Have called in the past sometimes leaving a message on answering ma****e. Don't care that the person they are looking for is unknown, these bas***ds keep calling for different people at different times. If you have the same last name, they feel free to call. Time to stop them.
(866) 905-8941 - July 1st, 2009 4:00am
****ed - you have a point. Education should be FREE. But we do have to keep some of the people ignorant, right! Wrong! Why is it that we can bail out all these other private companies because of their ******ity. Think the government would bail you out?

Called first time, was put on hold for 2mins then call was disconnected.Called back, immediately on hold a***n (no options mind you, just straight to hold music)Finally talked to a dude, asked why I keep getting their calls. I provided my number, and he verified my name (which I did not give him) so they do some have level of information about me.He wanted to verify my other personal information which I denied and informed them that Sallie mae has no clue who these guys are or why they are calling me. He went on to ask me if I have recently taken care of an issue, I confirmed that it has been month(s) since it's been taken care of, he appologized and mentioned he would contact 'them' to clarify as it has not reflected in their system..Hmm - Lets see if I get another call, since I've already received two tonight.
(866) 905-8941 - May 17th, 2008 4:00am
Calling constantly - the student loan industry gets free moneyfrom the governemnet in the form of guarantees on student loans..(That's why they'll give a student loan to any corpse) Every student lender has "student", US, ASF or AFS or ACS, etc. in their name and just like debt collectors, they all sell the loans back and forth... In the meantime, the public has to pay for this **** by way of higher taxes & interrupted dinners. I'd rather pay the taxes to the Universities for free tuition of local residents rather than let these yahoo s***bags drive us nuts with the phone calls..
(866) 905-8941 - June 6th, 2008 4:00am
My mother received a call from somebody claiming to be Student****istance Corp., demanding to know my current phone number and address. When she refused, they verbally abused her and even threatened her. She is very old and was visibly shaken after this horrible encounter. It is a shame these ****s are allowed to treat people this way.

I've been dealing with Sallie Mae for years. I answered and we talked and they faxed me the forms for a deferment. I've been through this before and the c****e in my loan status will show up online within a day. They are the real deal.
