I also got a call from the "corporate tax network" after filing an LLC with Legal Zoom.  I did sign up with them, however I have yet to do my taxes and give an evaluation.  I am about to complete the process in a few days for 2010 tax year, but I do have an uncomfortable feeling about the "Corporate Tax Network" as I have also tried to find "any" information about this company from anybody who completed a filing with them.  This is the first post that gives some feedback.  Does anybody have any details on the performance or quality of work done while using and completing a tax submission with this network?Any additional info would be great to hear....I will post after completing 2010 tax return and give my honest experience with this tax prep company.  Thanks for any info given.

Jim,They called me and really gave me a hard sell.  I was put off by this and insisted on getting a copy of their terms and conditions, which they refused to do unless I first paid their $1500 fee.  I thought it not right to pay first and only later find out what the terms were, so I persisted.  After several tense and uncomfortable phone calls over a period of hours, the salesperson sent me the terms and conditions which I received the next day.  Upon review, I found a clause prohibiting customers from posting any negative information about the company on the internet.  I've never seen a clause like this before, but it certainly explains why I could find no independent information on them on the web.  I did however find they are linked to the same man who was suspected of tax service scams based out of St. George, Utah with several different companies, some of whom had the same street address in New York as Corporate Tax Network.  This really put me off.  Since then I have sent emails and telephoned 70% of the clients who Corporate Tax Network lists on their website, to get opinions from actual users of the service.  Of these, only two replied, and those two did not actually use the service - they paid the full fee and then cancelled, leaving the entire amount with the company and feeling like they wasted their money.  I find it interesting that of those listed on the company's own page which I contacted, not a single one gave a positive review of the actual use of the company's service.  Your post is the very first I have seen of anyone who uses them.  I'd sure appreciate a reply from you, to initiate a conversation about the particulars and your opinion at this time.  Thanks!

I got the same call after setting up an S-Corp with Legalzoom.  I got the free consultation (good info) but the $1500 price tag is too steep for me at the moment.  Looking for positive testimonials from outside sources.  Let me know.

I signed up with them as well. The service is better than I expected. They did my taxes last year and got me back a pretty large refund. Using them a***n this year. In regards to the complimentry consultation in the beginning -- It's good information regardless if you retain them or not.

That number is from Corporate Tax Network. They called me too, after I set up my LLC with legal zoom. They gave me a complimentary tax consultation, and then offered a corporate tax account account with them. I chose to do it, it was $1497, plus $19.99/month. The $1497 was split up into two payments for me. They offered to give me unlimited consulting for my company, as well as do my quarterly, annual taxes for my LLC, as well as my personal. So I believe it is a good deal, but of course, my first scheduled appointment with a cpa is for monday 7-26-10 so I will see if all goes well. But I don't believe it is a scam!
