We have had these before and he is very insistent that if we don't pay what they claim that the RCMP will arrest us. When we would let it go he s****ed saying that the RCMP were at the door to arrest us "now", I said good then I can report this fraud. So he ***g up.

They are slick. Claim to be Verizon calling from 866--887-8317. Very knowlegable about iphones and plans. Very professional. But don't be fooled. These are professional scammers who somehow got my phone, address info and are looking to get your credit card # and allegedly send you new upgraded iphones - sent directly to your house. Soo convenient!!! I would rather go to a Verizon store. But there's more! They lead you through the Verizon Wireless website -which anybody can do - this woman had me on the phone for almost 2 hours rattling off info about iphones. She must be a former employee of Verizon to pull this off. When she wanted my credit card # (like at this point I asked who are you? and she gave me a name - duh - and I hesitated to give my card # so I told her I lost my card. Meanwhile I called Verizon Wireless and they told me they are FRAUDULANT - claiming to be Verizon. These fraudsters even send you a text msg with an "authorization code" just to make it look so official. But beware - they are not the real deal but counterfeit!!!

Called me repeatedly trying to get me to get a new phone. They ***g up multiple times first, I think because they were looking for a man's voice to answer, since the account is in my husband's name. For a phone company, supposedly, they had a horrible sounding connection on the 3 times I spoke with them. It was definitely on their end, not mine. Very unprofessional. Also, they messed up my name. Calling me so****ing that rhymed with my name, not the real thing, like Ms Boyle rather than Ms Doyle. At least freakin know who you're talking to if you're trying to sell me so****ing! Names c****ed to protect my name!

I dialed 611 as well. The guy I spoke with told me that it is a Verizon sales number. They were contacting me because my phone is eligible for upgrade. I had called them back to take me off the list. It is ridiculous that they were calling me every day though.

I just called 611 (verizon customer service) from my phone to inquire whether this is actually them. According to the gentleman I spoke with, this is not a Verizon number, and there are no notes on my account that I was spoken to last night when this supposed "verizon" number called me. He said to c****e your billing account passcode and do NOT take anymore calls from this number. They also took down the number to investigate.

I have gotten calls from this or similar numbers on my cellphone with no ID and no message left. I am on the Do Not Call Registry and have these unknowns blocked, but they still persist. I also get calls from an unknown without any number or ID.
