Wanted me to send a cashiers check for $1000 by Fed Ex. Be careful when looking up phone numbers on the internet. Check the actual web address.

My mother called this number accidentally, believing it was for Verizon customer service. The person who answered tried to convince her that her phone and computer connection had been hacked, and that she would have to pay $600 to have tech support correct the problem.

I googled ATT customer service, this number came up first. They said other people were using my account. Wanted to connect to my computer using www.help me. That is a sure sign of a scammer. ***g up. Thanks, Kitbo***
