Got a call from this number saying they were calling from MasterCard World card. Never heard of it and don't have any credit cards. So yeah scam. The message said about a hold being placed on the account because they were investigating fraud charges and I could call them or go to their website to verify. If I was calling internationally I could call a special number. Ooh. It never said the company's name other than Mastercard World Card. I'm concerned this is a scam and an attempt to collect personal information about me. This number left me a voicemail message on my cell phone that it was a fraud alert and I should call this number for important information about my Barkley Bank Account.....I don't deal with this bank.

Same story as Jai. Scam. I don't have a Mastercard "World" account - but I have a different kind of account with Mastercard. So I called that phone number on the card I have - and they told me my account was fine.

Received a recorded message indicating there was su****ious activity on my card-I don't have a MasterCard. It wanted me to put my account # in to a automated ma****e. I did not put it in and reported it.
