Says your social security number has been used in an illegal act and if you don’t call them back you will automatically go to court

This is a legit call. I use them extensively. Too complicated to go into here but it is a legit call.

I called CVS Caremark customer support at (800)933-6252 and asked about (866)430-1891. The Caremark rep told me that the number is not a scam or spam. I called the number, The automated call alerted me of a hold on 2 of my RXs. Real situation. I called support back and got the issue cleared.

Claim to be cvs Caremark. Left a number and a pin. I don't know why they would need to call me.

Claimed to be CVS Caremark. A few days ago, I got a similar call from from 423-822-2465, also claiming to be CVS Caremark. The first call said to call back at 877-477-1442, and enter a 7-digit code. When I called the number, it said it recognized the number I was calling from and I didn't need to enter the code. It immediately asked me to enter my birth date. I chose not to. (From other posts I've read, I gather it might have asked for my social security number next.) Instead, I ***g up and phoned the number I always use for CVS Caremark. They told me they had no record of trying to contact me, and they didn't know that number. Tonight, I received a call from 866-430-1891. They said to call back at 866-430-1891, and enter a 7-digit code. When I called this time, the system didn't recognize the number I was calling from, so I had to enter the code. After I entered the code, a recording gave me an update that I think only CVS Caremark would know. The recording did not ask for my birth date or any other info from me. If I had to summarize: 1. Call from 423-822-2465 asking me to call back at 877-477-1442: Bad. Asked for personal information. 2. Call from 866-430-1891 asking me to call back at 866-430-1891: Seems harmless. Didn't ask for any info, and offered me some (possibly helpful) information.
