This number showed up on a Life Lock check. Do not know who it is as shows a company . Can not find who or why this came up, and shows as a person not a business.

some idiot from india claiming his name was john - with a thick indian accent, could not*****ounce my last name or city properly. He claimed he was calling from the the Crime Prevention Unit. I said really? For what company, he says, it doesnt matter because he is not selling anything - I said sure it does, you must work for an important company to be in the Crime Prevention Unit, a**hole ***g up on me when asked to be placed on a do not call list - these companies are shoddy. Best I figure is they are scammers in some kind of home insurance or home evaluation bu***hit

I get 5-6 calls per day over the last 2 months. I have asked to be removed from their list. I have been told that several companies offer the same program and I won't get off all lists. They claim to have gift cards paid by someone else for products at Sams, Costco and Target. They claim they need to verify my information and give me a confirmation number to activate the cards. They claim if I listen and agree to all their statements then they will stop calling. But agreeing means I agree to purchase a program costing $39.95 charged to my credit card.

The man that I talked to, told me he wanted to talk to Edwin Niemeyer, my deceased husband. This guy told me Edwin Niemeyer has been signing up for a lot of things online. Well, I would say that's a miracle since my husband has been deceased for almost seven years. My husband wanted no part of using a computer when he was alive and I am sure he is not using one now. I just ***g up on the ****.

I called the number he gave me for customer service went to a company called "SureTouch". I spoke with a lady, and she said that she never heard of such a company. Called me about auto listed on Craigslist. When I called the number, they indicated it was "national auto sales" and for me to leave number.. checked online and this appears to be a scam.
